Madrid- Global Technical Consultation on the coordination and governance of essential services for responding to violence against women and girls

In the name of UNPA BH and UN Women BH, Ms Selma Begic, Program Manager in FLD, participated in the forth and the final Global Technical Consultation on the coordination and governance of essential services for responding to violence against women and girls, convened by UN Women and UNFPA as part of the Joint Global Programme on Essential Services for Women and Girls subject to Violence (the ‘joint programme’). The aim of the meeting held on in Spain, Madrid from 9th till 11th of June 2015 was to reach agreement on the core elements of, and the quality standards for the coordination and governance of services both at the national and local levels.

Besides, Ms Selma Begic, Easter Europe and Central Asia were presented by representatives of stakeholders but CSOs from Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Turkey.

In November 2015, the whole set of documents; results of Global Consultations (Joint program) will be launched.
