STAYING SAFE

On 01.09.2017. FLD has started with the implementation of the project „Staying Safe – Security Net for Women Human Rights Defenders /anti – GBV activists in Bosnia and Herzegovina“. The project is being implemented on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with the Association “Network of Women Police Officers” of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the financial support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The objective of the project is to provide systematic response to violation of WHRD’s rights aiming to ensure their better position, safer environment and stronger visibility. 

The target groups of the project are CSOs active in the field of protection and promotion of human rights: women human rights defenders / anti-GBV activists and other relevant CSO; women police officers representatives of cantonal, entities Ministries of Interior Affairs, Ministry of Security of BIH; representatives of different media, relevant BiH institutions in charge of protection of human rights (Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees and Agency for Gender Equality BiH).
